American Idol Update: Jessica Sanchez joins Top 4, Skylark eliminated

Jessica Sanchez has made it to the Top 4 of  ”American Idol” Season 11 Thursday evening as the famous talent show moves closer to its finale.

Jessica Sanchez gave her heartfelt thanks to her supporters before and after the latest elimination phase of  ”American Idol” Season 11. As the competition intensifies, only four ”American Idol”  hopefuls remain in the competition after Skylar Laine bid farewell.

The 18-year-old Skylar Laine of Brandon, Mississippi became the latest  to receive the lowest number of votes Friday morning (Manila time), which resulted her to be out of  ”American Idol” Season 11.

Jessica Sanchez is joined by Joshua Ledet and Phillip Phillips, two of the Top 4 who were saved first, and Hollie Cavanagh.

Eddie Basden reinforces Petron in Governor’s Cup title defense

The Petron Blaze Boosters will be reinforced by Eddie Basden in their bid to defend their Governor’s Cup title. Noli Eala confirmed it saying, “Petron will be signing Eddie Basden @STeB215 as import for 3rd conference. Basden will fly in after his finals stint in Brazil.”

Eddie Basden was born on February 15, 1983. Eddie Basden is an American professional basketball player who also had experiences playing in the NBA. 

Titanic II’s maiden voyage set in 2016

The latest version of the doomed Titanic back in April 5, 1912 is set to make its maiden voyage in 2016 from England to New York.

After a hundred years since Titanic met her doom, along with the death of some 1500 people, an Australian billionaire expressed his desire to build the latest version of the infamous vessel.

Clive Palmer, one of the richest people in Australia, plans to build a modern Titanic through the help of a Chinese company. Clive Palmer said wants Titanic II to be as luxurious as the ill-fated one, but of course using the latest and state-of-the-art technology.

Clive Palmer disclosed this idea on the same day he expressed his desire to run for a seat in the parliament. 

James Yap and Denzel Bowles are B-Meg heroes in Game 5

James Yap and import Denzel Bowles had unstoppable performances after they led the B-Meg Llamados to an 82-66 victory in Game 5 of their best-of-in seven duel in the Commissioner’s Cup Finals Wednesday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

James Yap finished the game with 30 points, his highest contribution for B-Meg in the conference so far. James Yap was also perfect from beyond the arc in four tries. He also had 9 rebounds to be chosen as the best player of the game.
