American Idol Season 10 Updte: American Idol Season 9 Winner Lee DeWyze Penalized the  Show Producer to Crown American Idol Season 10 Winner Scotty McCreery:

Surprise! Fans and the crown during the last American Idol Season 10 grand finale show were surprise not to see the American Idol Season 9 winner Lee DeWyze on stage to turn over the trophy to the American Idol Season 10 winner on Wednesday night. As tradition on the finale of any contest, the previous winner must be present to award the trophy to the new winner but on the last American Idol Season 10 finale, it did not happen as the rumor said that the producer of the show, Lythgoe has penalized the American Idol Season 9 winner Lee DeWyze.

This issue was confirmed by Lythgoe’s tween that said “I was so upset Lee DeWyze wouldn’t present the winners trophy to Scotty. Especially as he’s been on the show this Season. I guess he was shy.”
